Alumina ceramic (Aluminum Oxide, or Al2O3) is one of the most widely used technical ceramic materials, with an excellent combination of mechanical and electrical properties as well as a favorable cost-to-performance ratio.

Wintrustek offers a range of Alumina compositions to meet your most demanding applications.

Typical grades are 95%, 96%, 99%, 99.6%, 99.7%, and 99.8%.

Zirconia ceramic (Zirconium Oxide, or ZrO2), also known as "ceramic steel", combines high hardness, wear and corrosion resistance, and one of the highest fracture toughness values among all ceramic materials.

Zirconia grades are various. Wintrustek offers two types of Zirconias that are mostly requested on the market:

magnesia-partially-stabilised zirconia (MgO-PSZ) and yttria-partially-stabilised zirconia (Y-PSZ)

Aluminium Nitride (AlN) has a high thermal conductivity that ranges from 160 to 230 W/mK. It exhibits favorable characteristics for applications in telecommunications technology due to its compatibility with both thick and thin film processing techniques.

Typical Grades (by thermal conductivity and forming process)

  • 160 W/mK (Hot Pressing )
  • 180 W/mK (Dry Pressing & Tape Casting)
  • 200 W/mK (Tape Casting)
  • 230 W/mK (Tape Casting)
